This seasoning is used to make the renowned Iron Works BBQ beans.
IWB’s Beans
Needed:
4Tbsp. IWB’s Original Bean Seasoning
2 Lbs. Dry, washed Pinto Beans
1/4 Cup cut up bacon, soft cooked, with drippings
1 medium Jalpeno pepper diced fine
1 medium yellow onion, coarse cut
Directions:
Using medium heat cover 2lbs beans with water (continue to add water to beans while cooking to keep them slightly covered).
Cook until beans soften (about one hour).
Add jalapeno, onion, 4Tbsp. IWB’s Bean Seasoning
Continue to simmer until beans are soft to the touch (about 2 hours).

For a quick snack, pre-heat oven to 400. Combine Mix with 8 oz cream cheese and 4 tbs. softened butter. Spread on slices of French bread and sprinkle with Topping blend. Place in oven for 2-3 minutes. Broil for another 1-2 minutes until cheese mixture begins to bubble. Enjoy!
